The Road Less Traveled is the Way, in the Name of Jesus Christ

This is the day that the Lord has made, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

What day is this, you may ask me? This is the day of rejoicing to God! This is a day of glory! This is a day of praise!

~”This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”~Psalm 118:24, English Standard Version~

I thank God for healing! I thank God for my family! I thank God for my friends! I thank God for my community! I thank God for deliverance! I thank God for all of the good that He has done in my life, in the Name of Jesus Christ!

Even though there have been moments of which I have stumbled and walked the road more traveled (which is the harder way instead of walking in the Way which is His will for my life!), I have learned the ultimate lesson as I approach the end of this chapter and begin a new chapter in my life: walk the road less traveled because that road is the Way to see and experience Jesus face-to-face and from glory to glory.

~”Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”~Matthew 7:13-14, New International Version~

As I enter into this new dimension of glory, I see the hands of God destroying a tapestry and making a new one.

Yes. A new tapestry. This new thing that God is allowing me to give birth to is ministry. Yes. Ministry. The ONE THING that I have been pleading for the angels of God to message God in Heaven. To begin ministry.

I must admit, I am multi-faceted. God has gifted me in many areas. I am a news editor for Atlanta Christian Voice, studying for my second Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University, work full-time at a daycare, and am even doing something that may surprise you later (I will talk more about this in a future blog post).

And these are the reasons why I praise God, in the Name of Jesus Christ. It is because He is doing a NEW WORK in me and it is being woven into my new tapestry of art. Watch and see with your own eyes the hands of God painting for me a new beginning. The canvas is a painting of my new life. The canvas is a new me. A new self. I die to my old self. I die to my old ways. For the former way of things is past.

For such a time is this. I begin a new work. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus.

His love is great. I enter into the love of Jesus Christ which is His will of my life. It is His will for the ministry, calling, and anointing, that He has put on my life. O so great is the love of God as I let these words of Scripture purify me in the blood of Jesus:

~”If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing. Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffereddoes not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part; but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away. When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.”~1 Corinthians 13, New American Standard Bible~

And it is in this moment that the unconditional love of Jesus Christ becomes a part of the ministry that God meant for me to walk in. Yes, even as I partake in this special anointing, I becoming unconditionally loving towards my family. I become unconditionally loving towards my friends. I become unconditionally loving towards everyone around me because God is love. I finally meet the world where they are at with humility as I cry out to Jesus on my knees in prayer and fasting.

~”And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.”~Mark 9:29, King James Version~

I must confess that before I wrote this blog post that I did not know how important it is to pray for others. I pray for myself and others, but what I pray to God through intercession as His Holy Spirit leads me is essential for breakthroughs to happen. I must intercede as the Holy Spirit of God is my Helper.

~”In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.”~Romans 8:26-27, New International Version~

The grace of God is good. The grace of God sustains me. It is all a part of His great love and plan for my life. I walk in the Esther anointing now, in the Name of Jesus Christ, for such a time is this.

The appointed time is now! What about you? Are you ready to walk in your anointing, dear reader? Let us pray:

Dear God,

Thank You for testimonies. Thank You that Your grace is enough and that with Your great love that it covers each reader reader today. May each reader experience the grace of God and give birth to his or her calling that Your hands have blessed upon each reader’s life. Allow them to go from valley to mountaintop and from mountaintop to valley or wherever that the reader is in this appointed time of life and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in ministry. Do not let any principalities or spiritual forces of darkness hinder any of these readers from walking in their calling or ministry today. May the blood of Jesus Christ wash away any impure thing from the hands of these readers today so that they can walk pure, healed, freed, and delivered from sin and shame. Empower each reader by Your Holy Spirit to receive and walk in Your Promises of Scripture today. I give You all of the glory, the honor, and the praise today.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen!

God bless you!

  1. Hey Sarah. It’s Brandon from church, First Baptist Atlanta. Isn’t it cool how one can just strike up random conversation and it turn into a lot? I pray and prophesy that the same shall happen for your blog, that God shall bring more and more people, that such shall be involved n the end-times harvest, and that God shall be glorified through it all! Woohoo!

    I didn’t read it all (for it’s night time where I am) but I did read quite a bit and you’re an amazing writer! I love the way you lay things out and say them simply. It’s nice to understand, as the bible says, “All the words of my mouth are with righteousness;
Nothing crooked or perverse is in them. >>>They are all plain to him who understands,<<< And right to those who find knowledge." (Proverbs 8:8-9)

God bless you with peace and prosperity and abundance and love that the perfect husband for you!
