Walk on Water, in the Name of Jesus Christ

49082488_2265682736789114_7236353709972652032_o

Are you on the path of holiness? Are you on paths of righteousness, in the Name of Jesus Christ? Are you being led by the Holy Spirit of God to walk on the waters for His Name’s sake?

I can certainly say that while I am not perfect that I am holy because I strive towards holiness every day. I want to be holy like Christ. This is because I want to remain One with Christ just as Jesus and the Father are One, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

~”for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”~1 Peter 1:16, New International Version~

For many months, I had been planning to come to Apostle David E. Taylor’s event, “One Night with the King,” in Michigan. This is because I was trusting, and praying, and believing in God for my miracle.

For the past several months, I faced spiritual warfare prior to coming to the event. Most of the spiritual warfare included financial limitations and lies from the enemy, Satan himself.

Satan tried to convince me that I will not get my miracle. As I prayed, I was able to shut the mouth of the devil, in Jesus’ Name, and step out on faith and come to Michigan. I came to Michigan from Georgia by taking a leap of faith. It was by faith and not what was in front of me (the financial limitations and lies from Satan) that I was able to come to Michigan. I am here now, in the Name of Jesus Christ!….And ALL by His grace!

~”for we walk by faith, not by sight.”~2 Corinthians 5:7, English Standard Version~

I bought a plane ticket for this event the VERY last minute (like one month before the dates of the event—–November). I prayed. And prayed. And even called the prayer line for the ministry that is hosting the even (Joshua Media Ministries) MANY times. I even fasted during my long days at work during lunch.

~”But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”~Matthew 6:17-18, New International Version~

My sacrifice unto the LORD God in prayer and fasting was not in vain. He saw my sacrifice as I made myself an offering unto Him, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

~”And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice–the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.”~Romans 12:1, New Living Translation~

And God will also reward me for the multiple times that I fasted and prayed unto the LORD God in secret. This I know to be true because it says so in His Word.

~”That your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”~Matthew 6:18, English Standard Version~

So now it is that I am in Michigan. I return to Georgia at the beginning of the new year in 2019. I can’t wait to see the miracle that the LORD gives me at the, “One Night With the King,” event and to meet Apostle David E. Taylor! God is so good!! I praise Him right now that His Holy Spirit got me here, in the Name of Jesus Christ!

I now want to pray for you, dear reader. What miracle are you hoping that the LORD will give you at the end of 2018? Let us pray!:

Dear God,

I want to thank You for your Son, Jesus Christ, I thank You that He died and shed His blood for each and every reader, who is reading this blog post. Thank You, O LORD God, for the miracle that You have predestined for each reader to receive. I pray that each reader will take a leap of faith that is ONLY found in Jesus Christ to receive their miracle. I pray that each reader will be blessed by the close of 2018 and that he or she will come enter into his or her Promised Land of miracles Spirit-filled with your goodness and your mercy. You are a good, good Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ. May each reader also walk on water like Peter did in the Bible when Jesus wanted him to trust in Him. I pray that every reader will have faith the size of a mustard seed so that he or she will know for sure that he or she will receive his or her miracle. I give you all of the glory, the honor, and the praise.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen!

God bless you!

The Inn of my Heart is Reserved for my Prince of Peace, in the Name of Jesus Christ

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!

Dear reader: When you think of  Jesus Christ, what do you think of? Do you think of Him as the King of Kings? Do you think of Him as the LORD of LORDs

What other names come into your mind when you think of Jesus? For me, He is my Prince of Peace, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

~”For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”~Isaiah 9:6, New Living Translation~

One of the reasons I call Jesus my Prince of Peace is because of the promise that He made to His disciples: He told them, “My peace I give you!”

~”Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”~John 14:27, New International Version~

The peace that Jesus Christ gave to His disciples was a gift from Him to them. He wanted them to have peace in Him. He wanted them to have peace through the Holy Spirit. They wanted them to have peace with Father God, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Peace in Jesus Christ allows me to cast all of my anxieties away. Peace in Jesus Christ allows me to fix my gaze on heavenly things. Peace in Jesus Christ allows me to have peace of God as I bow down the my Prince of Peace, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

~”That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”~Philippians 2:10, 11, New Living Translation~

I bow down to my Prince of Peace. I love my Prince of Peace. I surrender all of my Prince of Peace, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

I let my Prince of Peace rule over my life. I let Him come in. I let Him enter into my heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

The inn of my heart is reserved for my Prince of Peace, in the Name of Jesus Christ. That is because there is room for Jesus to enter into the inn of my heart. I let Him come.

~”Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”~Philippians 4:6-7, New International Version~

As I let Him come in, anxiety flees. As I let Him come in, anger ceases. The war of my flesh gives into the Prince of Peace as I yield to His direction for my life.

And it is everyday that I die to myself and surrender all of my Prince of Peace. Do you?

Let us pray:

Dear God,
Thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank You that You sent Jesus Christ to die for me on the cross of Calvary. Thank You that He is my Prince of Peace. I pray that every reader will trust in Jesus Christ to be their Prince of Peace today. I pray that they will surrender to the leading of Your Holy Spirit. I pray that they will develop such a love for Your Son, Jesus Christ, that they will call Him their Prince of Peace. I give You all of the glory, the honor, and the praise.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen.

God bless you, dear reader!

Heaven’s Heartbeat is Immanuel (“God With Us”), in the Name of Jesus Christ

“God is Us,” is My Hope, in the Name of Jesus Christ

Immanuel——-“God with Us.”

Dear reader: Do you believe in, “Immanuel?” Do you believe that, “God with Us,” is, “God with Us?”

As the month of December comes to a close, consider the following: How close are you to God? Did you know that God is always with us?

Yes, dear reader. God is for you and was, is, and is to come: Immanuel!

~”Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”~Hebrews 13:5, New International Version~

Dear reader: Did you know that God put you into the world for a reason? For such a time is this that you are now reading this blog post. You are truly blessed, dear reader!

Dear reader: Do you believe that Jesus Christ is Immanuel? Do you believe that Jesus is God? Do you believe that Jesus is, “God with Us?”

These are all questions to ponder. The virgin, Mary pondered in her heart what the angel, Gabriel, showed her shortly before the birth of the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

~”But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.”~Luke 2:19, King James Version~

Dear reader: Do you ponder on the heavenly things of God? Do you have those moments in which you close your eyes and think of the deep, mysterious, and hidden things of God. Do you ponder them?

Dear reader: Jesus is God. Jesus is LORD. Jesus is Immanuel. Jesus is, “God with Us.”

I know that I can definitely say that Jesus is with me. That is because He is for me, as His chosen and beloved daughter.

~”What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”~Romans 8:31, New International Version~

How can God not be with us? That is because, “God with Us,” is always with us, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Dear reader, it does not matter what type of storm that you are going through: The hands of God that are the hands of Jesus will see you through your storm. All that you have to do is trust and obey in God: all of the time, for such a time is this.

~”Obey God and leave all the consequences to Him.”~Dr. Charles Stanley, Life Principle Two~

For such a time is this for the Holy Spirit to lead you, by His feet, into the arms of Jesus. For such a time is this for Jesus to show you who is Father is. For such a time is this, for Father God to make things known unto you, dear reader, just as His Begotten Son, Jesus Christ makes the Father known unto you!

~””My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”~Matthew 11:27, New Living Translation~

Dear reader: Do you see what Jesus sees? Do you see through the eyes of Father God? Do you see through the eyes of Heaven’s Gates? Many are called, but few are chosen to be a people for, “God with Us,” is such a time is this.

~”But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”~Matthew 7:14, New International Version~

Dear reader: Are you ready to trust in Immanuel? Do you believe in, “God with Us?” Let us pray:

Dear God,

I know that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ died for me on the cross of Calvary. I confess my sins to You and am ready for Your Son, Jesus Christ, to lead me for all of my days. Come into my heart and I will follow you forever.

Amen!

God bless you!

God is my Hope, in the Name of Jesus Christ

I Am Forgiven and I Am Loved by God, in the Name of Jesus Christ

“I forgive you.”~Me.

Dear reader: Have you ever forgiven someone? Did it take a lot of courage to do? Were you hesitant in taking this next step? I sure was when I was in the process of forgiving my ex-best friends from college.

~”For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”~Matthew 6:14-15, New International Version~

Forgiveness is the heart of who my Heavenly Father is because He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to die for me on a cross. Forgiveness is the heart of who Jesus is because it is what He put on display at the cross. Forgiveness is evidence of the work of the Holy Spirit in and through me because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from a tomb.

He is risen! Therefore, I can say these words: I am forgiven and I am loved by Almighty God.

I still remember that day. Me and my two ex-best friends got into an argument and I said a lot of things that were mean and hurtful to them of which I cannot take back. In return, they did a lot of mean and hurtful things back to me. There were moments in which I cried. I felt anger and I became VERY bitter.

These feelings that I experienced were not of the Holy Spirit of God. I asked God to take them away from me.

~”And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”~Luke 22:41-42, King James Version~

I did not understand why I felt so sad. It is because God led me to a state of brokenness. This led me to repent. This was a process because I had to grieve the friendships that God took away from me. I had to trust this as a part of His greater plan for me.

~”Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.”~2 Corinthians 7:10, New International Version~

About two months after the argument, I received a Birthday card in the mail from one of the ex-friends (not both of them). She made the words that were written in the card short and simple:

~”You are forgiven. You are loved.”~

I asked one of my friends, who God put in my life for a season, what she could have meant when she said that I am forgiven and loved? She told me that those were the words that Jesus told her to tell me.

Even Jesus said these words in the LORD’s Prayer:

~”and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.”~Matthew 6:12, New Living Translation~

A couple of months later, I returned from my missions trip to Japan. I let the will of God take control of my life as I was in a process of brokenness and surrender out of my pain.

My ex-friend from college sent me an email and apologized for what she did that hurt me. She told me that as God was leading her that we were only meant to be friends for a season and wished me well.

After I read the email, I felt sad and even cried. This was an email that I received just as I was in the process of transitioning from a two month missions trip from Japan and I felt deeply grieved.

I then had a choice that I could make (this took many, many months for me to deal with.—–God got me through it). I could let go of this person, who I had no control over her decisions, or I could remain stuck in the past. I chose to let her go and let God (after many months later) and it felt good to yield to the will of God. I grieved the friendship that God allowed for me to loose as I trusted in His great plans for my life.

I had to choose to live forgiven. I had to choose to live loved. I am forgiven and I am loved, by God’s grace. It was a choice that I had to make.

I eventually heard back from my other ex-friend too, and she told me in a text message that she wanted me to stop contacting her and told me that she would be the one who contacts me.

While I have not heard from this ex-friend since she told me this, I have decided to let her go too and let God even though it comes across to me that she lied to me and has not contacted me since then. I had to grieve this friendship that God allowed for me to loose and trust in His great plans of my life.

I even had to forgive them…..yep, forgive them because it is was Jesus did for me. But, I had to forgive myself first so that I can show others the forgiveness of Christ first. I laid my sins down at the foot of the cross.

Knowing that I am forgiven and loved encourages me to press on. Knowing that I am forgiven and loved allows me to fix my gaze on the King of Kings and not on people (in this case, my ex-friends from college). Knowing that I am forgiven and loved frees me from the approval of others and allows me to enter into the Father’s love.

~”And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”~1 Corinthians 13:13, New International Version~

I am commanded by Jesus to love my ex-friends. Yes, I have to love them because it is what the King of my heart did for me. Jesus loved everybody: EVERYBODY. And all of us are sinners in need of the love of God.

~”We love because he first loved us.”~1 John 4:19, New International Version~

Now, just because I have forgiven and love my ex-friends from college, that does not mean that I agree with how they have treated me (their sins). In fact, I have let them go as I have forgiven and loved them where they are at. I know that Jesus loves them more and even better than I do.

I am forgiven. I am loved by my Savior.  And it does not matter what they think of me because He forgave me and loved me despite my past sins. I live by this Truth everyday.

Let us pray:

Dear God,

Thank You for the readers, who chose to read this blog post. I pray that it will free a reader, who is struggling with living forgiven and loved today. Let each reader know that he/she is forgiven and that he/she is loved by Jesus Christ today. I pray that each reader will remember the death and resurrection of Jesus as a daily reminder of who they are in Him. Let these three remain in each reader today: Your Faith, Your Hope, and Your Love. Your gift of salvation is the greatest gift of love that any human being can receive. I praise You for this truth and give You all of the glory, the honor, and the praise.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen.

God bless you!

God is My Oxygen (the Air I Breathe), in the Name of Jesus Christ

Father, Son, Holy Spirit: You are my Oxygen.

Dear reader: You may be reading this and wondering why I tell the Trinity (Three Persons in One) is my Oxygen? God is the Air that I breathe. Jesus provides me this Air that He wants me to breathe. After Jesus gives me His Oxygen, I breathe the Holy Spirit in and out.

~”So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.”~Zechariah 4:6, New International Version~

Dear reader: Do you trust in Jesus Christ to be your Oxygen? He is like Oxygen in that He is the Divine Connection between God the Father and the Holy Spirit. In other words, Jesus is the Link between Abba Father and the Holy Spirit and He Alone is Oxygen.

He is my Oxygen, in the Name of Jesus Christ. I was listening to a song by the Christian group, Avalon, called, “Oxygen.” This song is what inspired me to write this blog post. One of the band members says this in reference to Jesus Christ in the song, “Oxygen”:

~”You are my oxygen

I breathe You in I breathe You out

You are my oxygen

You are my love You are what life’s about”~Avalon, Oxygen~

When one thinks about it, these lyrics are powerful. God is like Oxygen. Jesus is like Oxygen. The Holy Spirit is like Oxygen too.

The Trinity is like Oxygen in that when one trusts in Jesus Christ to be His or her LORD and Savior, he or she begins breathing in Clean Air. This Clean Air is Pure Oxygen in that is the link between a follower of Christ’s relationship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit of God. You breathe in this Clean Air when you trust in Jesus Christ to be Your personal LORD and Savior.

Dear reader: All that you have to do is call upon the Name of Jesus and you too will be saved.

~”If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”~Romans 10:9, New Living Translation~

Jesus becomes your Life when you become saved. This is because He is the Giver of abundant life. The Oxygen of Jesus Christ is the Giver and Provider of the abundant life that is found in having a relationship with God the Father.

The Holy Spirit of God is a Witness to one’s relationship with God the Father. He gives followers of Jesus Christ a Divine Connection to Jesus Christ and straight into Father God. He opens up your eyes and your ears to be attentive to His Word.

~”The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the Lord has made them both.”~Proverbs 20:12, English Standard Version~

God in Christ Jesus and through His Holy Spirit is Pure Oxygen. All you have to do, dear reader, is trust in Him and believe in His Holy Word.

Let us pray:

Dear God,

Thank You for each reader, who took the time to open up this blog post and read it. Thank You that Your hands are already opening up the eyes and ears of Your children to Your Word so that they can be more sensitive to what Your Holy Spirit is showing them and obey Your leading. I pray that each reader will trust and believe in Jesus Christ as their Oxygen. I pray that each reader will know and declare with conviction that He and You are One and that by the power of Your Holy Spirit that One can have a relationship with You. I pray that each reader will believe that You are God, in the Name of Jesus Christ. I speak blessings over each reader and good things to come ahead. I give You the glory, the honor, and the praise.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen!

God bless you, dear reader! May the LORD keep your face shining in Him today!

There is Power, in the Name of Jesus Christ

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

In the beginning, there was You and You was there and You were always there.

O God: You was, and is, and is to come, since the beginning of time. I praise You for this amazing truth. You said in the beginning, “Let there be light,” and then, boom!! It happened. Thank You God for creating the earth, the heavens, the sun, the stars, and the moon, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

~”And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.”~Genesis 1:3, New International Version~

Dear reader, it is amazing that God has always been since the beginning of time. You can call upon the name of the LORD in many different ways, such as King of Kings, Prince of Peace, Jehovah, Adonai, Yahweh, and many, many other names, and you will be saved!

~”If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”~Romans 10:9, New Living Translation~

Dear reader: all it takes is once. Yes. Once, and that’s all, as you call upon the name of the LORD Jesus to save you and your household. Jesus is mighty to save. There is power in the blood. There is power in the name of Jesus.

You are His, dear reader. You are His child. You are the apple of His eye. You are special in the eyes of Almighty God. You mean the MOST to Jehovah because Jehovah sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for your sins.

It was at the cross that Jesus Christ died for you, dear reader. It was at the hour that God forsake the face of Jesus Christ as He hung on the cross that His perfect plan for you, dear reader, was done. You can now say, “It is finished,” dear reader.

~”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”~John 3:16, King James Version~

It was at death that God knew that Victory was your outcome, dear reader. It was at His resurrection that you, dear reader, have a place in heaven and in the Lamb’s Book of Life with Your King of Kings.

You are His Son. You are His Daughter. You are His witnesses, O Sons and Daughters.

~”All the nations gather together, and the peoples assemble. Who among them can declare this, and show us the former things? Let them bring their witnesses to prove them right, and let them hear and say, It is true. “You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me. I, I am the LORD, and besides me there is no savior. I declared and saved and proclaimed, when there was no strange god among you; and you are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and I am God.”~Isaiah 43:9-12, English Standard Version~

That’s right. You are His witnesses, dear readers. You are His most prized possessions. You are a chosen race. You are a holy nation. You are a royal priesthood. You are His, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

~”But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”~1 Peter 2:9, English Standard Version~

You mean everything to God, dear reader. Let us pray!: 🙂 :

Dear God,

Thank You that You consider each reader to be special in Your eyes. Thank You that You have a plan for each reader and that it is great. I pray that the great plans that You have written in Your books will be fulfilled in the seen and temporal realm as each reader, who reads this blog post, places his or her trust in the unseen and eternal realm. Allow each reader to meditate and think upon Your goodness and mercy. Allow each reader to meditate and think upon whatsoever is just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and worthy of praise. Do not turn Your back or Your gaze away from each reader until Your hands complete the work that You ordained for each reader to achieve. May each reader claim this: that they are Sons and Daughters of You, O Most High God, and that there is power, in the Prince of Peace. Do not stop until You say, “It is finished! Well done, good and faithful servant!” I give You all of the glory, the honor, and the praise.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen!

God bless you, dear reader. Praise the LORD right now!! 🙂

Out of My Pain (In Brokenness and Surrender), in the Name of Jesus Christ

I consider myself to be a strong person……well, for the most part.

I’ve been through many things………from financial difficulties to homelessness. But through it all, the hands of God have been upon my life.

You see, dear reader, God is for me. He is not against me. Even when my closest friends from college left me and certain members from church condemn me, God sees, He knows, He understands and He feels my pain.

Even Jesus went through pain and wrestled it. He even questioned His Heavenly Father to take away the pain and give it to someone else:

~”Again, for the second time, he went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.”~Matthew 26:42, English Standard Version~

But God basically told Jesus (I am imagining what God could have told Jesus by paraphrasing the above mentioned Bible verse——–not quoting it):

“No, I can’t take this pain away from you. My plan for you must be accomplished. My will. Not yours.”~God to Jesus~

One ex-friend from college told me, “You used to be a good person to talk to.”

Good? Since when was I a good person? I am a sinner, who is short of the grace of God. I need Jesus!

~”For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.”~Romans 3:23-25 English Standard Version~

Words. Words. Words. They do not affect me. And so, it is out of my pain, that I minister to people at my church. I put a smile on my face when I go to Sunday School in order to be the joy of Christ to my Sunday School classmates.  It is out of my pain, that I write for Atlanta Christian Voice as I deny myself of the mental and emotional pain that I feel. And it is out of my pain that I love my parents where they are at with the Holy Spirit of God as He humbles me with His fruits. I also remember this:

I am a child of God. Of course, I am not a good person nor do I have my life altogether. I am a broken mess. I am far from perfect. But, in order for me to be the hands and feet of Christ to each person, who I meet, I must DENY MYSELF of the pain that I feel in order to be effective in ministry of any kind or type.

IT IS WRITTEN:

~”For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”~Philippians 1:21, New International Version~

Dying to pain is serious. It is also something that I do on a daily basis so that I can be an effective tool for God. This can include painful memories of the trauma experienced when I was homeless, painful childhood memories of abuse, and the stress from past financial difficulties. These things from my past DO NOT (I repeat, they DO NOT) define me. My past DOES NOT define me. My relationship with Christ defines who I am as I die to sin, the law, and MYSELF as a point of reference.

I enjoy dying to my pain because allows the Holy Spirit of God to enter into my life and take control as He heals me and uses me in the Way that He wants to. As I die to my pain, the joy of the LORD becomes my strength.

~”for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”~Nehemiah 8:10, English Standard Version~

As I die to my pain, I can enter into the presence of God. As I die to my pain, I can thank God with a bountiful heart. As I die to my pain, I remember of what I can do: I can do all things (include die to pain), in the Name of Jesus Christ.

I know that God will use me. I know that He is always using me and it is my Hope that He will use you to minister to the lost and hurting out of your painful experiences, memories, or condition.

Remember, dear one. God can use you in any way He wants to: You just have to be in a state of brokenness and surrender to allow His Holy Spirit to work in and through you effectively.

God bless you, dear reader. Take care! ❤

Sing a Melody Unto the King, in the Name of Jesus Christ

I will sing and make music. I will sing and make music to Jehovah, my Savior and my God.

~”The LORD will save me, and we will play my music on stringed instruments all the days of our lives, at the house of the LORD.”~Isaiah 38:20, English Standard Version~

Yes, dear reader. I will sing and make music to God because it gives Jehovah the glory, the honor, and the praise that is found in having a relationship with Jesus Christ. All that you have to do, dear reader, is to call upon the Name of the LORD and you too will be saved.

~”If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”~Romans 10:9, New International Version~

Dear reader: Sing. Sing to Jehovah God with all of your heart. Sing to Jehovah God with all of your soul. Sing to Jehovah God with all of your mind. Love the LORD your God with all of your heart, your soul, and your mind, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Dear reader: Sing a melody to the Most High God. Jesus loves you, in the Name of Abba Father. Jesus wants you, dear reader, to sing and make soft tunes unto your Heavenly Father. Jesus wants you, dear reader, to sing as loud as you can to the LORD Most High of the Heavenly Armies.

~”Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'”~Matthew 22:37, New International Version~

~”We love because he first loved us.”~1 John 4:19, English Standard Version~

Jesus is LORD. He is God of Heaven and earth. He was, and is, and is to come, Jehovah God of the new heavens and new earth. Sing and make music to the most High God!

Jesus is my LORD. He is God of my life. He was, and is, and is to come, Jehovah God of my life as I live out the abundant life that Christ freely gave me on the cross. Celebrate and make music to Immanuel, God with us.

Jesus is LORD of my house. My house will sing and make music to the LORD now. I shall not wait. I will not wait to sing my melody unto the King of Kings. He is near and dear to me: I am nearer and dearer to Him. Sing and make music to LORD of all, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

~”All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’).”~Isaiah 7:14, New Living Translation~

God is with me. God is with you. God is Jehovah, in the Name of Jesus Christ, and He is for you and not against your noise full of abundant life unto the Most High God.

He already gave you, dear reader, a sign that He is LORD of all.Sing and make music. Make a melody unto the King, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

He gave His only Begotten Son through the Virgin Mary. Let’s celebrate and make music unto Immanuel, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

He gave the greatest gift of all, the abundant life that is springing up a wellspring of eternity. He calls me His. I can celebrate and make music, not by might nor by power, but by His Holy Spirit, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

That is a reason enough to celebrate the miracle birth this Christmas season!

Immanuel: God is with us, He is for us, and not against us, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let’s sing and make music unto God for eternity, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

God bless you, dear reader. My prayer is that you will find your voice as you make music unto God in your own way after reading this blog post. Whether it be through song and dance, painting or poetry, your song is near and dear to the heart of Jehovah God. Your voice can have an impact and touch the world, wherever the hands of God place you. You are near, and dear, and special to God, as His vessel and tool to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in your hometown and beyond.

Remember this, dear reader: Jesus loves you and don’t stop making music unto the LORD God today. God bless you! Grace and peace! ❤

From the Inside Out, in the Name of Jesus Christ

I am free. You are free. We are free, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

What is this freedom that I speak of? It is not my might nor by power, but by my Holy Spirit that we are free, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

~”So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.”~Zechariah 4:6, New International Version~

You may also ask me, “What are we free from?” We are free from sin. We are free from the law. We are free from ourselves (which can be dangerous if we do not submit to the will of God that is in Christ Jesus), as a point of reference of God that is found in Christ Jesus.

What must a follower of the LORD do in order to keep the faith? He or she must press on. He or she must press on toward heavenly things and set his or her mind on things above, such as whatever is deemed to be true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable  in the eyes of the LORD.

~”I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”~Philippians 3:14, New International Version~

~”Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me–everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.”~Philippians 4:8-9, New Living Translation~

When a follower of Christ sets his or her mind on heavenly thoughts from the inside, then that is when the externals fall off (such as pride, anger, depression, idols, etc.). In the Way of Jesus Christ, then he or she can testify of what the Holy Spirit did to make a transformation occur, from the inside and out.

~”And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow–not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below–indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”~Romans 8:38-39, New Living Translation~

You see, dear reader, YOU MUST die to yourself. Yourself is your biggest enemy because YOURSELF can hinder YOU from experiencing the abundant life that is found in and through Christ Jesus. Also, the law is another hindrance because a follower of the LORD cannot limit his or her journey with Jesus Christ to only the laws of the Old Testament of the Bible. He or she must follow the Way, the Truth, and the abundant life that was freely given by our Heavenly Father in the New Testament of the Bible in order to experience the fullness of God that is found in Christ Jesus.

“~For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”~John 3:16, King James Version~

One final thought. Followers of Christ must embrace the Truth that Jesus died for sin. Not just sins (plural), but sin, in a general perspective.

Sin began when the fall began in the Garden of Eden. That is when sin of different kinds enabled the enemy to bring chaos into the world. That is why as followers of the LORD, we are in this world and not of it. This Truth is not by might, nor by power, but by the Holy Spirit of God, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

So, what is the message of this blog post, you might ask me, dear reader?: You cannot live the abundant life by yourself. Only by God the Father and His Holy Spirit that is found in Christ Jesus in and through you can.  🙂

Let us pray! 🙂 :

Dear God,

Thank You for the abundant life that Your Son, Jesus Christ, freely gave to me and each of these special readers, who are near and dear to You. Show each reader just how valuable they are to You because of the Ultimate Treasure that You gave that is found in Your only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Your Son and the abundant life that You gave in and through Him is the Most Precious Gift that any human being can experience today. Demonstrate to each reader what the abundant life looks like through the life of Jesus Christ and through Your eyes. Show them that this abundant life cannot be lived out by self and that self must die in order for the abundant life to be lived out freely and in the Way that You intended for followers of Christ around the world to live, in the Name of Jesus Christ. May each reader embrace and live out the abundant life that is found in Jesus Christ  and walk free from sin, the law, and themselves today. I give You the glory, the honor, and the praise.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen!

May God bless and keep Your face shining in His presence today, dear reader!

To Be, in the Name of Jesus Christ

Good morning and happy Friday everyone!

Dear reader: Have you ever had moments in which you felt stuck: moments, in which your life felt stagnant and everything was at a standstill and you did not know what to do or what God was up to in your life?

It is those moments that push me to draw closer to God in my prayer closet. It is in those moments that push me to praise God for the good and bad moments. It is in those moments that push me to give thanks to God for circumstances, such as this one, as the Holy Spirit of God shows me what He wants to teach me.

~”Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”~1 Thessalonians 5:16-19, New International Version~

I ask God what exactly it is that He is trying to teach me in dry seasons of my life, such as this one. I cry, even as I pray, knowing that God sees and knows my broken state. You see, brokenness leads to repentance. And it is really in those moments that I allow the Holy Spirit of God to teach me how to be more like His Son, Jesus:

To be……more compassionate, like Jesus.

To be……more loving, like Jesus.

To be…….more joyful, like Jesus.

To be…….kinder, like Jesus.

To be……..more peaceful, like Jesus………

I strive towards that high mark of the calling of the Most High One that is in Christ Jesus.

~”But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”~Galatians 5:22-23, English Standard Version~

I read the Scriptures for a confirmation from the Holy Spirit of God. One Scripture that I read sticks out to me:

~”I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”~Philippians 4:13, English Standard Version~

This means that I can:

  1. Praise God in Christ who gives me strength.
  2. Pray to God in Christ who gives me strength.
  3. Thank God in Christ who gives me strength.
  4. Worship God in Christ who gives me strength.
  5. Do anything through Christ!

You see, dear reader, dry seasons push me to draw closer than I ever have to the LORD. They push me to want to be more like the begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ. They push me to die to myself in order as I strive to be more perfect, even as God the Father in Heaven is perfect.

Even as I struggle financially, I die to myself. Even as I eat ramen noodles as this is what I can afford to eat, I die to myself. Even as I cry myself to sleep at night, I die to myself by thanking, praising, and worshiping God through blasting worship music in my bedroom.

Worship music keeps my mind at peace with God. Worship music keeps my heart and my mind guarded from any form of evil. Worship music gives me the joy of the LORD as the strength of my innermost soul. The Holy Spirit of God pursues me to love the LORD more through worship music. Worship music makes all of the difference in my life. 🙂

So, dear reader, I encourage you to do a hobby that you enjoy doing, such as listening to worship music (as I do),  painting, journaling, and other hobbies that keep your mind focused on God above and away from the distractions and dry seasons of life.

Keep your mind focused on God through Christ Jesus!

~”And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me–everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.”~Philippians 4:8-9, New Living Translation~

Let us pray! 🙂

I pray that whatever dry season that any of these readers are passing through that Your Holy Spirit will show each reader what it is that You want to teach each reader. I pray that Your Holy Spirit will show who God is through Christ Jesus to every reader so that they will know who God is through Christ Jesus and worship You and You only. I pray that each reader will be still and know that You alone are God as Your Holy Spirit reveals to him or her what it is that You want Your readers to know as a result of reading this blog post. In Jesus’ Name,

Amen!
