A Sign from God

I had the weekend of my life from April 1-3, 2022.

This past weekend, I attended the Impact and Influence Author’s Conference. This conference changed my life for the best and for God’s best for me.

I met many authors, who had a similar vision and goals as me: to make an impact on the world. I had the chance to talk about my book and to make some sales concerning my book. Overall, it was a very phenomenal and joyful weekend!

My book, “A Victory Song: Beneath the Veil,” talks about my struggle with bipolar disorder and how I overcame my struggle with bipolar disorder, from a spiritual standpoint, because of the impact that my Christian counselor from First Baptist Atlanta had on my life and because of the prayers and support from my church family from the same church. I talk about topics related to everyone, even if you don’t have a mental illness, such as seasonal friendships, my relationship with my mother, and my relationship with my ex-boyfriend.

I shared the the topics of my book in a 15-minute speech that I delivered to an audience of people, who attended the conference. I shared this speech with such a gentleness and boldness of the Lord at the same time!

~”For God gave us not a spirit of fear but of power an love and self-control.~ 2 Timothy 1:7, ESV~

There was one girl, who attended the conference, and who also has bipolar disorder. Her mother explained to me, “She needs you!,” after hearing my 15-minute speech on my book and deciding to buy a copy of my book for her daughter after hearing my speech. I was happy that the mother of this daughter decided to buy a copy of my book after hearing my speech. It was a sign from God that I am a sign from God for the people to inspire and to be inspired!

~”I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”~ Philippians 4:13, ESV~

On the last evening of the Impact and Influence Author’s conference, I made a 3-minute speech as to why I should be voted as Author of The Year. Even though I was not voted as Author of the Year, I am thankful and grateful to the Lord to have participated in the conference because it is the first of many more conferences to come, in the future!

God has many great plans for my life and I cannot wait to see how He uses me in many more conferences ahead in the future! Grace and peace and thank you for reading this blog post!
